about

That's how my duo with wonderful Silke Eberhard launched: with music connected to the early Paul Bley, pieces by Carla Bley, Annette Peacock and Jimmy Giuffre. Looking into the Free Jazz-movement of the 1960ies, checking what's leftover of that revolution and melting it into the presence.
So you will also find originals by Silke and me on this recording.
TURNS made it on the longlist "Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik". Enjoy!
