This has been my first encounter with Evan Parker. I always wanted to play with him, much earlier I wanted to play LIKE him. His sound and musical flow showed me a mesmerizing aesthetic direction.

Being on stage with him is an wonderful experience, everything falls into place with ease. This first concert with Evan has become a CD, voilà. We decided to use descriptions of blooms from a botanical book for the titles, as both of us have a botanical background. This gives the pieces interesting associations, the listeners may decide if they match.
